LinkedIn Learning: the educational corner of LinkedIn

If you are already an active user on the business-oriented social media platform, you are probably familiar with LinkedIn Learning. In 2015, LinkedIn bought the American company Lynda.com for $1.5 billion, and started offering its high-quality educational video courses on its own LinkedIn Learning platform.

linkedinlearning

Getting started with Digital Marketing on LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning comes with the Premium plans, and it offers an extensive variety of courses covering Marketing, Business, Advertising, Software Development, Graphic Design, and Technology.

However, if you are trying to get started with Digital Marketing and just watch all the videos that are out there, you might get confused when trying to connect all the information by yourself.

For this reason, I recommend you the course Become an AMA Professional Certified Marketer in Digital Marketing, a collection of videos that covers all the basics to get you started with Digital Marketing.

amaprofessionalcertifiedmarketer

Wait! So I have to pay in order to take this course?

Although all the courses from LinkedIn Learning come with your Premium account, LinkedIn offers a 30-day free trial, which is more than enough for this course. Just remember to cancel the free trial before the 30-day expiration, otherwise your subscription is renewed automatically, and you will be charged 27 EUR – which is the price for the Premium plan. In other words, you can take this course for free during your 30-day trial.

After you have finished your 30-day Premium trial, LinkedIn offers an additional 7-day free trial only for LinkedIn Learning with no credit card required. For some reason, it doesn’t give you this option if you haven’t consumed your 30-day one first.

However, I think that the 30-day trial will give you more time to watch the course without stress and worries on whether you will finish it before the expiration date.

linkedin7dayfreetrial

While you are trying out the Premium plan, make sure to check the rest of the Premium features as well. If you are wondering whether they are worth it, I wrote an article about LinkedIn’s Premium plans, evaluating each feature separately.

How to Optimize Your Google Business Profile for Local SEO https://mktoolboxsuite.com/google-business-profile-local-seo/ https://mktoolboxsuite.com/google-business-profile-local-seo/#respond Sun, 27 Nov 2022 19:24:20 +0000 https://mktoolboxsuite.com/?p=15896 img {display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

People discover businesses through local SEO and Google Business.

If a person is looking for a new restaurant, they’ll use their phone to look up dining places in their location. Google Maps show them the top spots near their area.

If you need a dentist, Google Maps can also show you dental clinics nearby providing you with the location, contact information as well as feedback and reviews.

So if you own a local business, local SEO and Google Business will help secure your place online if used correctly. However, not many businesses know how to take advantage of this strategy.

A local SEO strategy and Google Business are not only cost-effective solutions for local businesses, but they’re strategies that will give you favorable results once you learn to optimize them correctly.

Learn about the features you need to prioritize and how to optimize them to drive traffic to your business.

What is a Google Business Profile?

Google Business is a tool owned by Google designed for business owners so that people can easily find them online. Creating a Google Business Profile enables businesses to manage their information and online presence across Google, which is the largest search engine in the world.

This means that your business won’t just be optimized for Google search but every feature integrated into Google such as Google Maps, Places and Google Carousel.

The advantage of claiming your Google Business Profile is that it will improve your Local SEO and search visibility. Whether your business is targeting a local, regional or national audience, Local SEO can help draw in visitors from any location you want.

What is the Google Local Pack or the Google Map Pack?

The Google Local Pack, also known as the Google Map Pack, is a section in Google’s local search results where people can see top-ranking listings in a certain area or the location a person is in.

In this section, businesses are listed together with their contact details, exact geographic location, hours of operation and other important information.

How the Google Local Pack Works

When a user searches for a local business, Google Local Pack or Google Maps displays the top-ranked establishments in the area that matches the user’s query. The results are based on Google’s algorithm that interprets signals from these results as the most relevant to the user.

Google’s Guidelines when it comes to ranking on local search results is fairly easy to understand as its main goal is to deliver the best physical location that matches the user’s search intent. You just need to optimize your Business Profile so that Google will prioritize you above your competitors.

How to Optimize Your Google Business Profile for Local SEO

Many elements and factors are involved when it comes to optimizing Google Business for Local SEO. For example, adding keywords and key phrases to your profile can make a huge difference if you manage to pick the correct ones.

Below are ways you can begin using Google Business with Local SEO to improve local rankings.

1. Claim your Google Business Profile

This is one of the most important steps. All you have to do is claim your business listing and verify that you’re the owner of the establishment. You can register your company.

How to claim your Google listing

  • Go to Google Business and create your business profile.
  • Provide your business name and address. If your business listing appears in the suggested matches, go ahead and claim it, otherwise, create a new listing and enter the necessary information.
  • Complete each section. One of the best ways to optimize your business profile is to complete each section right away as this will not only help Google understand and rank your business but it will also get more people to take action when they come across your profile.

Aside from filling out the basic information like name, address, website, phone and hours open, you need to think about what to put in these sections:

  • Category & attributes
  • Products or services
  • Questions & answers (FAQs)
  • Google will then verify that the information you entered is correct and your business is located where you claim it to be. After a week or two, your verification PIN will be sent via postcard.
  • Enter the verification PIN and you’re done! You can now share updates about your business with the world.

Local rankings are determined by relevance. So, the more accurate the information you provide, the easier it will be for Google to pull up your business for queries that match it.

Not only do you need to enter all the right business information, but you can also add keywords so customers can know more about what your business is about.

This is where local SEO services can be of use. By doing keyword research, you’re sure that you’re choosing the right category as well as including the right words in your description so that it matches what your target audience is looking for.

2. Add photos to your listings

Adding photos is an excellent way to give people an idea of what your place or services look like. This way, it’s easier for potential clients to see if what you’re offering matches what they need.

Images will get you that extra traffic. But you have to make sure that they’re optimized.

Select the right images, choose the perfect file size and ensure that the quality of your photos is top-notch. If you want, you can go the extra mile by geotagging photos for Google Business to highlight your location even more.

Use photos to make your business stand out. However, anyone can just add images, so make sure that the ones your upload are high quality and optimized.

If you find that most of these tasks are not in your range of specialty, for example, geotagging can be quite technical and time-consuming, you can always work with a local SEO company to ensure that you get help from professionals.

3. Verify your business location

Credibility and trust are the foundations of a business. Verified businesses are 100 percent more likely to be trusted by new visitors.

Once your business is verified, you also have protection in case someone tries to impersonate your business or pose as a representative of your brand.

4. Choose a category

Choosing a category will increase your chances of getting found when a consumer enters a query using a categorical term, product or service. This is beneficial as more people enter categorical or general terms rather than typing a specific business name or address.

If you choose a category, Google also makes it possible for you to choose category-specific details that will make your profile more efficient in grabbing a user’s attention.

For example, hotels will have star ratings whereas HVAC contractors will have service options as to whether they offer online services and onsite services.

Here are some things to keep in mind when choosing a category.

Be very particular about your category

There are many businesses on Google and some of them can fall into multiple categories. But you have to be specific when setting your main category. For example, if you’re an Italian Restaurant, then you can’t just put Restaurant as your category. There will be a list of categories that will appear once you type in your business so make sure to choose the ones that are perfect for your business.

Provide a secondary category

It will help to provide more information about your store and one way to do this is to set up a secondary category. For example, if you’re a Real Estate Agency, you can use additional categories like Commercial Real Estate Agency

Keep it simple

It’s easy to get carried away when choosing categories as some might go overboard in choosing categories that might apply to their business when these are just products or attributes of their business.

Make sure to choose categories that match what your business offers.

5. Pay attention to attributes

Once Google knows your category, a list of attributes designed for your business category will appear and you can add them to enhance your business description. For example, if you’re in the restaurant business, you’ll see features like dine-in, delivery or takeout.

Potential customers can see whether you offer free wi-fi or which days of the week you’ll be mostly fully booked.

Attributes on Google can get very specific, so you have to take advantage of this so you can highlight your best assets.

6. Encourage Google reviews

Google reviews are a big credibility boost to your brand and it’s user-generated so you don’t have to spend anything. Customer reviews or word of mouth is still the best form of marketing after all.

Reviews show that real people who have experienced your services vouch for you and this is a powerful way to attract new customers.

Not only that but Google also puts a lot of value on user reviews and sees them as a huge factor when ranking your Google Business Profile.

One of the best things about Google Business is that it’s very efficient when it comes to reviews. You simply ask your customers to take some time and leave a review on Google. You can provide a direct link or they can easily search your business on Google and leave a review on the spot.

Note that the key here is to be more targeted. This means that target customers that have genuinely enjoyed your services and kindly ask them for their review.

7. Interact with your clients by responding to reviews

The benefits of having positive online reviews can mean the success of a company, however, it can also easily break a business.

Make it a point to respond to the reviews left by your customers, whether they’re positive reviews or otherwise.

8. Optimize your website for mobile

Google Business can also be a bridge that connects people to your business website.

You have to keep in mind that users coming from Google Business will be using different devices. Make sure that your website is ready to receive users who are not only on their computers but also on their mobile devices as well.

Google now uses mobile-first indexing which means that they will be prioritizing the mobile version of a website when crawling and indexing it. So you have to ensure that your website looks beautiful and is responsive on any device.

You can check how mobile-friendly your website is using Google’s own test. You can see how easily a user can use your page using a mobile device. You can use Search Console to learn more about critical site errors and how to fix them.

9. Post consistently on your Google Business Profile

You can post events, announcements, updates and offers to your Google Business Profile. These posts can be created in your Google My Business (GMB) dashboard. These posts become highlighted as it becomes more popular.

Posts are beneficial as it encourages users and potential customers to take action once they come across your profile.

These posts also serve as Google ranking signals. So as you post, you’re sending a signal to Google that your profile is updated and active. Similarly, customers can also follow your Business Profile and get notifications as you post updates.

Tips when posting on your Google Business Profile:

  • Post relevant content. Don’t just post updates to send signals to Google, you have to post content that serves a purpose. You can post photo updates if you don’t have a special event coming up.
  • Post regularly. Posts tend to expire after a week, so make sure to post relevant updates weekly.
  • Include links to your posts. Calls-to-action (CTA) are important in encouraging people to take action once they see your Google Business Profile so make sure to include one in every post.

10. Add messaging to stay connected with customers

Messaging allows users to send you a text message from your Google Business Profile. This is an excellent opportunity since smartphone buyers tend to use their devices for local searches.

This feature allows them to easily message you as soon as they spot your Google Business Profile.

If you skipped this step while signing up, you can access this feature in your Google My Business dashboard. You’ll see the “Messaging” tab in the sidebar. You’ll get the option to download the app from Google Play or the App Store.

You’ll be provided with a different number using Google’s Allo App so you don’t have to worry about displaying your private number. But be sure to set up alerts so you’ll know whenever you have an incoming customer message.

Google Business Profile: A Free and Easy Way to Boost Visibility

Your Business Profile can help you in so many ways; you just have to fill out the pertinent information, and make sure it’s accurate and updated.

However, like any strategy that involves SEO, you’ll increase your chances of success if you optimize external elements that Google also takes into consideration when ranking your Business Profile: your website, third-party websites that connect to your site, review sites that mention your business and more.

Make sure that everything your business is involved in provides quality content and information. Google may have hundreds of ranking factors, but the one constant factor will always be about making user experience as easy as possible.

And a big part of that is putting out quality and trustworthy information.

Optimize your Google Business Profile today, and you’ll improve online visibility and local presence without spending a dime.

Interview with Eran Galperin, Founder of B2B SaaS Gymdesk https://mktoolboxsuite.com/interview-gymdesk/ https://mktoolboxsuite.com/interview-gymdesk/#respond Tue, 22 Nov 2022 20:19:51 +0000 https://mktoolboxsuite.com/?p=15830 img {display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

The ever-growing digital world has provided a vast array for opportunities for businesses looking to improve and automate their processes, effectively cutting time and costs over the long-term.

Today, we are interviewing Eran Galperin, Founder and CEO of Gymdesk – top-notch gym management software designed to help gyms cut on administrative load, grow, and become more efficient with their operations.

What is Gymdesk?

Gymdesk provides online management software to gyms and other fitness and wellness businesses.

How did you come up with the idea for Gymdesk?

I had close to 15 years of experience with building software and software businesses when I started Gymdesk. After exiting my previous venture, I wanted to build something that I’m more passionate about.

I’ve been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for about 9 years at the time, and have seen the back office of many Jiu Jitsu schools. I felt there was a gap there for a user friendly solution and Gymdesk is the result of that.

What challenges did you have to overcome at the beginning of your journey with Gymdesk?

Starting a new business is always a challenge, especially since I come from a technical background, I did not have a lot of experience with customer acquisition.

It took a good 4 years for Gymdesk to reach product-market fit. Through the first 4 years, I learned a lot about what our customers actually need and continuously implemented it back into the product. There were many times that I wasn’t sure I had anything really. But once we reached an inflection point, things became much easier.

How have your priorities changed from when you first started?

At the beginning, all I wanted to do was build a product that people would like to use, and I believe we’ve achieved that.

Now I’m focused on building a company where it used to be a one man operation – from customer service, to operations and marketing, making sure everything is running smoothly and effectively.

What is your favourite thing about running your own business?

When you run your own business, you get to decide how to do things, which is incredibly freeing. You get to decide the direction of the product and the culture of the company. It makes work much more fulfilling.

Which is your favourite Gymdesk feature?

This is like asking who is your favourite kid 🙂 Seriously though, there’s plenty of features I like a lot and had a lot of fun working on, but the first that comes to mind is our mass check-in feature, where you can quickly check-in entire classes with a couple of clicks and it’s very visually pleasing.

gymdesk - gym management software

What makes Gymdesk different?

Most of our competitors have been around for a while, and it shows heavily in their software. They might have a great marketing website, but almost none of that translates to the product which looks like very outdated accounting software.

I focused from the ground up on making Gymdesk feel both modern and user friendly. We have an amazing UI/UX designer, and with my background in product management we have a very strong flow for simplifying and streamlining complex interactions.

This is the feedback we get from our users all the time – how much easier it is to use than any of our competitors.

In your opinion, what is the #1 factor that determines if a gym will become successful?

It’s a combination of things. You need to be able to attract new members and retain existing ones. You need to maintain a positive cashflow, which means managing your expenses and making sure you’re pricing your services correctly.

Once you have your fundamentals in order, balancing your member growth and churn to make sure you’re always growing and never shrinking is the key to making a gym into a successful business.

If you had to give one piece of advice for new gym owners, what would it be?

Figure out your budget ahead of time, and plan accordingly around that. You really have to think through all the aspects of starting and running a gym for a few months, as it would take time to start generating significant revenue.

We actually wrote a guide on our blog about how to open a new gym as a first time owner.

About Eran Galperin

Eran has been building software businesses for close to 20 years, as a software developer, product manager and entrepreneur. Eran founded Gymdesk in 2016 to build a modern software solution for managing gyms and martial arts schools.

The Ultimate Guide to a SaaS Email Marketing Strategy https://mktoolboxsuite.com/saas-email-marketing-strategy/ https://mktoolboxsuite.com/saas-email-marketing-strategy/#respond Wed, 26 Oct 2022 15:42:17 +0000 https://mktoolboxsuite.com/?p=15631 img {display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

The SaaS business community uses email marketing as one of their channels for communicating with audiences on a regular basis. Email marketing is used to notify potential customers about updates to SaaS products as well as to advertise the benefits of SaaS products.

Although SaaS marketing companies such as Rocket SaaS use email marketing as one of their marketing strategies, SaaS businesses also employ webinars, social media marketing, SEO, content marketing, multimedia marketing, blogging, guest blogging, local SEO, and other forms of online marketing.

saas

But now, the primary goal of this article is to give you access to an exhaustive, well-researched, and informative guide on SaaS email marketing strategy.

SaaS metrics are crucial for understanding your business’s performance and can also help validate SaaS product ideas. The key to SaaS success is a constantly growing customer base. Hence it is essential to keep track of the product’s growth and health. Well-translated metrics can help predict customer retention, revenue, and ROI and help make data-driven decisions.

Let’s get going!

SaaS Email Marketing: What Is It?

SaaS email marketing is a type of digital marketing channel that SaaS companies use to promote their products directly to their potential and prospective customers through a series of campaigns that include graphics and content concerning advantages, information, and timely updates about new features of their SaaS products.

SaaS enterprises must have a direct, effective method of contacting their customers because SaaS products are not physical and can only be accessible online.

Because SaaS products are adaptable and extendable, SaaS businesses must maintain a direct line of communication with their clients in order to update them on any recent developments in their products.

Welcome emails, newsletter emails, dedicated emails, lead-nurturing emails, sponsorship emails, transactional emails, re-engagement emails, and brand story emails are just a few of the email marketing formats used by SaaS businesses as part of a SaaS email marketing strategy.

SaaS companies use all of these sorts, each of which has a certain area of expertise.

marketing

The Main Objectives of a SaaS Email Marketing Strategy

A SaaS email marketing strategy concentrates on four things that are highly important to the business. The following section reviews these elements in great detail. Let’s investigate them.

Product

The SaaS product is the main emphasis of every SaaS email marketing campaign. The SaaS company ensures that all content in any type of email it sends mentions the product it is offering, although there can be different angles used to lead the email recipients to buy the SaaS product and stick with it alone.

These viewpoints may cover the potential of your SaaS products, your SaaS value proposition, and the reasons why buyers should always choose your products over those of many other competitors.

Price

Convincing customers of the value of the products is another aspect that every SaaS email marketing strategy focuses on. SaaS companies make an ongoing effort to provide their clients with the best possible pricing, explain why it is necessary, and persuade them to pay it.

Potential clients may choose another option if they feel the price is too high. Price showcasing is thus a crucial component of a SaaS email marketing strategy.

Promotion

Promotion serves to differentiate SaaS products from those of rivals, raise knowledge of the products’ existence and positioning, promote brand establishment and growth, uncover new secondary markets, foster customer loyalty, and boost sales.

All of these advantages are the main justifications for why any SaaS email marketing strategy ought to concentrate on promoting SaaS goods from SaaS businesses.

Place

SaaS companies are spread out all over the world. Both customers and SaaS companies value the sales channel. Markets that are focused and easy to use have higher conversion rates and lower bounce rates.

Each email that is sent out must have clear and straightforward information about the online store where clients may make purchases.

The Metrics for SaaS Email Marketing That You Must Track

In order to know how effective SaaS email marketing is, a SaaS company that prioritizes email marketing efficacy must measure a few metrics. Here is a list of these measures. Let’s examine each one in turn.

Return on investment

ROI: The profit made above the cost of an investment is referred to as return on investment. It is a ratio between net income and investment, to put it another way.

Economies of scale, market dominance, and managerial caliber are some of the elements that impact ROI. ROI for SaaS email marketing is the increase in profit as a result of marketing efforts.

SaaS firms can assess the extent to which email marketing initiatives either holistically or on a campaign basis contribute to revenue growth by measuring return on marketing investment.

They will also be able to judge whether or not their SaaS email marketing strategy and marketing plan are appropriate for their company.

Open rate

The proportion of subscribers out of all subscribers who open an email sent by the owner of the email list is known as the open rate. Every SaaS marketing department must take note of this important factor.

This is due to the fact that your email subject line and preheader’s amount of intrigue generation determine how high your open rate will be. It serves as a baseline for gauging the success of your SaaS email marketing strategy.

Understanding your open rate will also help you understand the kinds of content that appeal to your segmented subscribers the most and how to use this to your business’s advantage.

Email bounce rate

The percentage of email addresses on a mailing list of subscribers that did not receive promotional messages as a result of the receivers’ mail servers returning them is known as the email bounce rate.

Depending only on the reason for the bounce rate, this may be a harsh bounce or a soft bounce. According to statistics, there should be a 2% bounce rate for every 100 emails sent to a list of subscribers.

Anything higher than this needs to be taken into consideration. However, there are two variations on bounce. Email deliverability can be impacted by a high bounce rate, which can also damage sender reputation scores.

Blacklisting could cause email marketing efforts to fail and be harmful to the success of a SaaS email marketing strategy for any email sender with low deliverability rates. Monitoring the bounce rate should be given top priority in order to avoid becoming a victim of this.

Click rate

The proportion of properly sent emails is determined by the number of distinct receivers (subscribers) who clicked on any link included in the email that was sent to them.

The click rate is derived by dividing the total number of email clicks by the total number of emails delivered to all subscribers. A significant sales conversion tool, click rate is a SaaS email marketing strategy measure that can be used to determine how clickable your subject lines are as well as to determine email deliverability.

Additionally, it assesses and positions the campaign’s effectiveness as well as the effectiveness of your copy, CTA, design, subject line, and preheader among many other elements.

According to HubSpot statistics, a good click rate for businesses each month is 6.5% on average. In general, a click rate of 2% is a decent starting point from which to continue to improve a SaaS email marketing strategy.

Growth of your email list

The goal of email list growth is to get all sign-ups’ attention. This is accomplished by sending the relevant email copy at the right moment. Because it serves as the foundation for measuring and evaluating all other metrics, this statistic cannot be neglected.

Your SaaS company’s sales, reputation, position among competitors, brand voice, and awareness will all suffer if your email list development is slow.

Due to all of these aspects, one of your main objectives for your SaaS email marketing strategy should include assuring the growth of your email list.

In order to avoid appearing to attract a lot of potential customers with low conversion rates, you must also produce email text that is compelling enough to draw readers in and persuade them to take the necessary action.

Conversion rate

The proportion of subscribers who click on a link in an email copy and carry out the main action is referred to as the conversion rate. Purchasing SaaS products is the main step, which primarily aims to increase revenue.

The effectiveness and engagement of a SaaS company’s email text is measured by how many people click on the link in the email. Conversion rates also impact whether or not there will be a significant return on investment (ROI).

This means that a high conversion rate results in a high return on investment, whereas a low conversion rate results in a low return on investment.

According to statistics, a good conversion rate is between 2 and 5 percent. This is a benchmark that should always be pursued while monitoring the analytics of your SaaS email marketing strategy.

SEO is one of the most important aspects of any online marketing strategy. If you want your website to be successful, you need to make sure you are doing everything possible to optimize your site for search engines.

This blog post will discuss 17 tips for improving your off-page SEO efforts. These tips will help you increase your website’s visibility and improve your ranking in search engine results pages.

1. Focus on quality and relevant backlinks

One of the most critical factors in off-page SEO is building high-quality, relevant backlinks to your website. It would be best if you focused on obtaining links from websites in the same niche as yours and with a good reputation in Google’s eyes.

The more backlinks you have from reputable sites, the better your chances of ranking well in search results pages.

2. Optimize your social media profiles for SEO purposes

In addition to building high-quality backlinks, optimizing your social media profiles for SEO can also help improve your website’s visibility and rank higher in search results pages.

With social media usage increasing over time, you definitely need to focus on this method to capture more traffic.

To do this, ensure that all of the information in your social media profiles is keyword-optimized. Additionally, use relevant keywords in the descriptions and titles of your social media posts to help boost their search engine rankings.

3. Participate in online communities and forums related to your industry

Another effective way to improve your off-page SEO efforts is participating in online communities and forums related to your niche or industry.

This will not only help increase the number of backlinks pointing to your website when you provide your website as a reference, but it can also allow you to establish yourself as a thought leader in your field, which can be beneficial from an authority-building standpoint.

4. Write and submit guest blog posts on reputable websites within your niche

Guest blogging is another great way to build high-quality backlinks for your website. By writing and submitting guest blog posts on reputable websites within your niche, you can increase the number of links pointing to your site and improve your search engine rankings.

This will also help you build your brand and establish yourself as a thought leader in your industry.

content marketing

5. Work with other brands or businesses within your industry to cross-promote each other’s products or services

One great way to build backlinks and improve off-page SEO is to work with other brands or businesses within your industry to cross-promote each other’s products or services.

This can help you tap into each other’s audiences, increasing your website’s traffic and improving its search engine rankings.

6. Submit your site to online directories and review sites

Online directories and review sites are other great resources for building backlinks and improving off-page SEO efforts. To get the most benefit from these types of sites, make sure you submit your site to relevant categories on various directories and review sites.

Additionally, be sure to respond to any reviews posted about your site to maintain a positive online reputation.

7. Establish your website as a reputable source of information by publishing high-quality content regularly

To improve your off-page SEO efforts and boost your search engine rankings, it is vital to establish your website as a reputable source of information by publishing high-quality content regularly.

This can be accomplished by creating engaging blog posts, infographics, videos, and other types of content that will interest your target audience and encourage them to link to your site from their blogs or websites.

8. Make sure your anchor text is not over-optimized

One crucial factor that can hurt your off-page SEO efforts is using anchor text that is overly optimized for specific keywords.

If your anchor text heavily features keywords that are unrelated to the content of the page you are linking to, it may seem unnatural or spammy in Google’s eyes, which can hurt your search engine rankings and decrease your site traffic.

9. Spread the links out to different pages instead of one page

Another common mistake that can negatively impact your off-page SEO efforts is linking to only one page on your website. Try spreading the links out to different pages on your site so that you can cover a wide variety of topics from multiple angles.

This will improve the relevance and authority of your backlinks in Google’s eyes, which can help boost your search engine rankings over time.

10. Vet the website for spam before building a link on that website

When improving your off-page SEO efforts, one tip to keep in mind is to carefully vet the website before building a link. By checking for signs of spam or poor quality, you can avoid linking to sites that will negatively impact your search engine rankings and reputation.

Some common symptoms of problematic websites include high Moz spam scores and low domain authority. You can also check the website’s backlink and see if their backlink profile is natural.

11. Build relationships with influencers within your industry

Another great way to build high-quality backlinks for your website and improve your off-page SEO efforts is to build relationships with influencers (aka influencer marketing) within your industry.

This can be accomplished by engaging on their social media pages, commenting on their blog posts, or even reaching out directly to them with a potential collaboration offer.

12. Use various link-building tactics to diversify your backlink profile

To improve your off-page SEO and boost your search engine rankings over time, it is essential to use various link-building tactics to diversify your backlink profile.

Some popular tactics include posting on other websites, participating in online forums and discussions, and getting involved with social media outreach campaigns on sites like LinkedIn or Twitter. The point is never to stick to one method and mix it up.

13. Share resources like templates and documents with other websites

Another effective way to build high-quality backlinks for your website is to share resources like templates or documents. This can be a great way to establish yourself as an expert in your industry and earn the respect of potential link partners.

For example, you could reach out to other bloggers and offer to share a free marketing plan template or post a guide on creating email newsletters that encourage engagement.

14. Monitor your website’s backlink profile regularly and disavow any unnatural or spammy links

To fully optimize your off-page SEO efforts, it is essential to monitor your website’s backlink profile regularly and disavow any unnatural or spammy links.

This can be done using tools like Google Search Console, which allows you to see all the backlinks pointing to your site and quickly identify any low-quality links that may be dragging down your search engine rankings.

Additionally, you can use a tool like Ahrefs to monitor your link profile over time, quickly identifying any new spammy links that may have been built.

16. Be open to experimenting with new tactics and strategies as they become available

As search engine algorithms continue to evolve, it is essential always to be willing to experiment with new tactics and strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

Whether trying out a new link-building method or exploring ways to diversify your backlink profile, always keep an open mind and be open to trying new things. This will help ensure that you stay competitive in your industry over time.

How do PWAs improve marketing efficiency? https://mktoolboxsuite.com/pwas-marketing-efficiency/ https://mktoolboxsuite.com/pwas-marketing-efficiency/#respond Wed, 12 Oct 2022 12:05:09 +0000 https://mktoolboxsuite.com/?p=15483 img {display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

The world of eCommerce has progressed tremendously over the last three years. As the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated eCommerce growth globally, developers seized the opportunity to focus on streamlining effective software and apps that helps businesses cope with this sudden requirement to scale.

Although the first form of PWAs date back to as early as the year 2000, Google re-introduced it as a new standard in web development in 2016.

Since then, and especially over the past three years, progressive web apps have seen unprecedented growth due to its vast benefits to eCommerce businesses. Including the marketing advantages it holds.

But, what is PWA? How can a progressive web app help my eCommerce business marketing? These are just some of the questions we will explore in this article.

We’ll start by discussing the marketing benefits of progressive web apps and how they differ from traditional websites. Then we’ll talk about the additional benefits of using a progressive web app for your business and provide tips on getting started.

So without further ado, let’s jump right in.

Mobile marketing benefits of Progressive Web Apps

1. Both long-time and new users enjoy PWA’s

Many users who have followed your product or content for a long time are likely to jump into your PWA the moment you launch it. You’ll also attract new users in addition to that. You’re broadening your brand’s accessibility by making the PWA a choice.

A PWA is an ideal way to provide unique material and special deals that only app users can access. Having special content that no one else can see is a strong incentive to use a PWA for your conversational marketing.

2. Brand awareness is boosted by PWA

A PWA’s simplest function is to raise consumer awareness of your brand. You may interact with users who haven’t downloaded your app by using push notifications and displaying an icon on their home screen.

You’ll be able to keep in touch with people who haven’t installed your app–which maintains brand recognition.

As they start to utilize your PWA in their day-to-day lives, your continuing interaction with them will make it simpler for you to get top-of-mind with them when you have anything new to offer.

3. PWAs provide opportunities for brands to engage with their customers beyond just a website or app

When it comes to digital experiences, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) offer a unique and exciting way for you to engage with your customers outside of a regular website visit or a one-time purchase of a specific product.

You may use your PWA to distribute information, engage with your audience, advertise discounts, and more.

Interacting with users on a regular basis is important to keeping your brand visible in their everyday lives, which increases the likelihood of them shopping with you.

mobile app marketing mistakes

4. It is a brand-focused platform that you can customize to reflect your company’s personality and the needs of your target audience.

Rather than simply conversing with your users on a third-party social media platform, a PWA allows you to immerse your audience into your company’s voice and messaging.

You may also customize the PWA’s content to match your audience’s demands and interests. Essentially, the PWA is your domain, and you have complete control over it.

5. Your brand should follow you everywhere.

When one of your users opens a progressive web app on their phone, they’re carrying your company’s experience with them everywhere they go. With a PWA, your customers can take advantage of it no matter where they are.

What other benefits do PWAs offer eCommerce businesses?

Progressive web apps are a new type that combines the best web and mobile apps. They are fast, reliable, and engage users in ways traditional web apps cannot.

For eCommerce businesses, they can offer their customers a better experience, which can lead to more sales and higher customer satisfaction.

In addition, progressive web apps are more affordable to develop and maintain than native mobile apps, making them a desirable option for businesses on a budget.

Ultimately, progressive web apps offer significant benefits for eCommerce businesses, and we will likely see more and more businesses adopt this technology in the coming years.

How can you create a progressive web app for your business, and what are the costs involved?

A progressive web app (PWA) is an increasingly popular option for businesses that want to take advantage of the latest technology. PWAs are web applications designed to look and feel like native mobile apps, but they can be accessed from any device with a web browser.

Unlike traditional web apps, PWAs are built using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. It makes them more responsive and interactive and allows them to work offline.

In addition, PWAs are typically less expensive to develop than native apps, making them a cost-effective option for businesses. While some initial costs are involved in developing a PWA, the long-term benefits typically outweigh the upfront investment.

As more businesses become interested in PWAs, the costs involved are likely to decrease even further.

Examples of brands using PWAs

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a type of web application that uses modern web technologies to provide a user experience similar to that of a native mobile app.

Some examples of companies that have developed PWAs include:

Twitter

Twitter is one of the most popular social networking platforms with over 300 million monthly active users.

The company has been focusing on delivering a better mobile experience for its users and has recently started to use Progressive Web Apps (PWA) to achieve this goal. PWAs are web applications that offer a native app-like experience and can be browsed offline.

Twitter has embedded its PWA into its main website and is now using it as the default web experience for users on mobile devices. The PWA offers a number of benefits, such as faster loading times, improved offline support, and push notifications.

This change will improve the overall user experience on Twitter’s mobile platform and could help to further grow the company’s user base.

Pinterest

Pinterest is a social media platform that allows users to share images and videos. The platform is especially popular for its user-friendly interface and wide range of topics. Pinterest has recently started using progressive web apps (PWAs). PWAs are websites that look and feel like native apps.

They are faster and more responsive than traditional websites, and they can work offline. Pinterest is using PWAs to improve the user experience on its platform.

The company has found that PWAs load faster and are more reliable than traditional websites. In addition, PWAs can be used on any device, including smartphones and tablets.

As a result, Pinterest is able to provide a better experience for its users, regardless of how they access the platform.

Uber

Uber is a ride-sharing service that allows users to request and pay for rides through the Uber app. In recent years, Uber has been increasingly using Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) to provide a better experience for users.

PWAs are web applications that can be used offline and offer many of the same features as native apps, including push notifications and camera access.

For Uber, using PWAs has helped to improve the user experience by providing a more reliable and responsive app. In addition, PWAs have helped Uber to reduce development costs and reach a wider audience.

As a result, Uber’s use of PWAs has been highly successful and is likely to continue in the future.

These companies have seen significant benefits from using PWAs, including increased engagement and conversions.

In addition, PWAs are typically more affordable to develop and maintain than native apps, making them an attractive option for businesses of all sizes.

As the technology continues to evolve, it is likely that more and more companies will begin to adopt PWAs as a way to improve their web presence.

Is Guest Posting For SEO Still Effective in 2022? https://mktoolboxsuite.com/guest-posting-for-seo/ https://mktoolboxsuite.com/guest-posting-for-seo/#respond Sat, 08 Oct 2022 18:54:04 +0000 https://mktoolboxsuite.com/?p=15478 img {display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

There is a lot of chatter and varied opinions out there on whether guest posting for SEO is still effective. Some say that it’s no longer as effective as it used to be, while others claim that it’s just as powerful as ever.

Personally, I believe that guest posting can still be an incredibly effective way to improve your SEO, but you need to make sure that you’re doing it correctly especially in light of recent updates from Google.

Guest posting simply for the sake of getting a link back to your website is not going to cut it anymore – you need to focus on quality content and building relationships with other bloggers in your niche.

If you can do those things, then guest posting can definitely still be an effective tool in your SEO arsenal. To learn how to guest post properly or if you need help with SEO, we highly recommend checking out this site.

What makes guest posting such an effective SEO tactic?

There are many reasons guest posting is such an effective SEO strategy. For starters, guest posting allows you to showcase your expertise and thought leadership on a topic.

When you contribute quality content that provides value to readers, you position yourself and your business as an expert in your field—which can go a long way in winning over new customers and clients.

Guest posting can also be a great way to get your name and your website in front of a new audience. When you guest post, you are essentially borrowing another blogger’s audience and exposing them to your content.

These are potential new readers who might not have found you otherwise. The result is increased traffic and ultimately more leads and business for you.

Finally, guest posting helps build authority and trust for your brand which is key in increasing your rankings on SERPs. When you publish high-quality, original content on another site, you’re effectively building links back to your own site.

Over time, these links will help your site move up in the search engine rankings. In addition, if the blog you are writing for has a high PageRank, your website will also receive a boost in its rankings.

Common myths you must debunk to succeed with guest posting

The fact that you opened this post means you’re probably second-guessing yourself on whether to go ahead with guest posting or abandon the mission. The underlying reasons for this indecision stems from the misconceptions you have about this SEO strategy.

Lucky for you, we are here to debunk some of them below so you can proceed with confidence:

Myth #1: Guest blogging is no longer an effective SEO technique

The idea that guest posting is no longer effective is a myth that needs to be debunked. It’s actually one of the reasons we wrote this article!

Like we’ve maintained all along, guest posting is still an incredibly powerful way to build your brand, drive traffic to your website, and generate leads. Sure, the landscape has changed a bit over the years.

It’s become more competitive and there are less opportunities to get your guest post published on big name sites. But there are still plenty of ways to make guest posting work for you.

If you’re strategic about where you guest post and what you write about, you can still generate a lot of traffic and exposure for your site. So don’t believe the myth that guest posting is dead – it’s still very much alive and kicking!

Myth #2: You need to post on huge websites only

Another myth is that you need to post on high-profile sites with millions of readers in order to see any benefits. This simply isn’t true. In fact, guest posting on smaller sites can actually be more beneficial in some ways.

For one, smaller sites are often more targeted towards specific niches. This means that your article is more likely to be read by people who are interested in what you have to say.

Additionally, smaller sites usually have less competition for guest posts, which means it’s easier to get your article accepted.

The key is to find websites that are relevant to your niche and have a decent amount of traffic. Also, don’t forget that it’s not all about quantity.

Quality is much more important than quantity when it comes to guest posting. It’s better to have a few quality guest posts than a bunch of low-quality ones.

Myth #3: Only established websites can guest blog

Any blog, no matter how big or small, can benefit from guest posting. For starters, guest posting is a great way to get your name and your blog out there. For new bloggers, it can be a particularly excellent way to build up a following and brand.

This is because it exposes you to a whole new audience who may not have otherwise known about your business. Besides, guest posting can help build credibility for your blog.

When you appear on a well-established blog, you’re seen as an authority in your industry. This can help attract new readers and followers to your own blog.

So, if you have something valuable to say, don’t be afraid to reach out to other bloggers and offer to write a guest post for them.

5 cardinal rules to govern your guest posting campaign

So you are ready to launch your first guest posting campaign? The following are some important rules and guidelines you should keep in mind to ensure success.

Make sure your goals are clear from the outset

It can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of guest posting and forget to focus on what you’re actually trying to achieve with it. Before you start reaching out to bloggers, take a step back and consider what your goals are.

Are you looking for more traffic to your website? Improved SEO? Brand awareness? Recognition as an expert in your field?

Whatever your objectives may be, make sure they are clear from the word go. That way, you can make sure that the blog you’re guest posting on is a good fit for what you’re trying to accomplish.

Do your research

Not all blogs are created equal; some are vastly more popular and influential than others. You’ll want to focus your efforts on high-quality websites that are relevant to your target audience.

Some crucial factors to consider include the site’s Domain Authority, MozRank, number of inbound links (you can use a backlink checker like Ahrefs for this) and Google PageRank among others.

Additionally, take a look at the blog content to get a feel for what kind of topics they typically cover. If your guest post pitch is a good fit for the site, then you’re more likely to get accepted.

Create content that is truly original and valuable

To stand out from the sea of other guest bloggers, you need to offer something unique and worth reading. Your content should be well-written, informative, and useful to the readers of the blog you’re guest posting on.

To ensure that your post is up to par, take the time to create something new and fresh. Whether it’s a new angle on a popular topic or an in-depth look at a lesser-known subject, your goal should be to provide readers with something they can’t find elsewhere.

While at it, make sure your article is well written and free of any errors, as this will reflect poorly on both you and the site on which you’re publishing your post.

Don’t forget the basics

In addition to creating great content, you also need to make sure you’re following all the basic rules of guest blogging, such as providing a bio with a link back to your website, using proper grammar and spelling, following the provided editorial guidelines, etc.

Monitor and measure your results

Keep track of how many views and clicks each of your guest posts receives, as well as any other relevant metrics. This will give you a good idea of the type of guest posting opportunities worth pursuing and which ones are not moving forward.

Additionally, don’t forget to track changes in your website’s traffic and ranking after you publish a guest post; if you see a significant uptick, then you know you’re on the right track!

Rinse and repeat!

Guest posting is an ongoing process, so don’t stop at the first one or two that get accepted. As with anything, the key to success here is consistency. Keep at it and don’t give up. Eventually you’ll see the fruits of your labor.

Conclusion

To this end, it’s evident that guest posting will continue to be an effective SEO strategy in 2022 and beyond. Not only does it help you build authority and trust with your audience, but it also allows you to share your unique insights on a given topic.

However, as with any other marketing tactic, guest posting must be done thoughtfully and with the reader in mind in order to be truly effective. So if you’re thinking about giving the strategy a try, be sure to do your research and plan your approach accordingly.

Thanks for reading and we hope this has been helpful!

Today, it’s no longer enough to launch a website that would feature some content and include basic web design elements. The web development process and planning should be carefully thought out.

One of the best time-saving approaches to promoting businesses online is through website construction based on ready-made website templates.

promote a business with website templates

Besides learning how to create a website with website templates for free or at a fee, you need to learn how to promote a website to make your project stand out from the competition and appeal to your target audience.

If you need foolproof tips on building a new website or making your current web design project more effective, here are ten time-tested methods to help your business compete successfully in the market.

Set clear goals

If you launch a new website, it’s vital to clearly define the goals of your project and stick to them during the website development and business promotion stages.

In fact, a business website may follow any goal, from purely educational to a fully promotional campaign. Specifying your project’s goals is the fundamental step that decides how you will move next.

Do you want to promote your business via a blog? Would you like to sell anything? Do you look forward to creating a remarkable portfolio showcasing your most impressive projects? These are some of the questions that should help you set the main goals of your business project.

Choose the best CMS

If you launch an online project that would let you promote and manage all kinds of digital content, then building a website using a content management system (CMS) should be the right move.

A good CMS should help you maintain your website professionally without requiring too much technical knowledge.

It’s important to choose a CMS based on your unique needs. If you hesitate about the goals your website would follow, the functionality you wish your website to include, and (more importantly) your budget, you should never lose when you use WordPress.

If you plan to sell your products and/or services through your website, then you need to build your website on an eCommerce platform.

On average, hosting services can cost between $2-$100 per month, depending on the kind of technology and support you choose. When you purchase a yearly subscription plan, you commonly get a discount instead of a monthly one.

There are different types of hosting plans available. Here are some quick guidelines on how to choose the best option for your website.

  • You can get a shared hosting plan for as little as $2 per month. A shared server means that you share a server and its resources with other customers, making your website’s security more vulnerable and one of the reasons your website’s performance suffers.

Running a website on a dedicated server means that the web host’s server machine is entirely dedicated to your web project, and all its resources are yours. Other considerations that you should consider when choosing a hosting plan for your website include the availability of reliable support that can come for help whenever you need to resolve any problem immediately.
